The Mad Jack is the second time Saxon has partnered with Gard Hollinger of LA County Choprods. The first partnership resulted in the critically acclaimed Black Crown, which quickly became one of Saxon’s best sellers...MORE
A note from Gard: It seems like you've been hearing "the Mad Jack's Coming" for a long time, right? I have not received official work from my friends at Saxon Motorcycles but rumor is that they have decided not to include the Mad Jack in their production line up and given the state of the "Custom V-Twin" market I can't say that I blame them. Unfortuntely for me I've never let good business decisions get in the way of running my business. Rather, I like to build stuff I think is cool even if I never sell them, oh well. What I can tell you is that this bike is one of the most fun to ride V-Twins I have ever ridden, it is light, quick handling and rides like a Softail not a rigid. In the process of Designing, R&Ding and Testing we built 3 versions each more refined until I was happy with every aspect of the bike except that we couldn't build it in small quantities and offer it at the sub 20K mark. The bike had so many cool features and low production made in the USA LACC parts designed into it and that's what made it work rather than trying to build the most basic, price point bike. Besides there's already a bunch of guys out there doing a good job of that. So, my intention is to make some more changes and offer a very limited full Custom version of this bike with no two being exactly alike but at a very reasonable price point.
